An Individual Pension Plan (IPP) is a way for you to reward a self-employed director that:
performs professional duties for the company
is paid a regular monthly income for services rendered

But you are also free to set up an IPP for one or more individual staff members:
if your company also offers a supplementary pension scheme for all staff members as long as the IPP is not set up in the three years prior to (early) retirement
